The hip joint is heavily involved in movements such as walking, jumping and standing and therefore it is highly susceptible to injury. There are many structures involved in the hip which can bring on pain and discomfort if irritated or damaged. You will first undergo a thorough assessment to ascertain the cause of your hip pain. Once this has been established your physiotherapist will produce a treatment plan designed to meet the goals which you want to achieve.
