Orthopaedic conditions

Orthopaedic conditions are common amongst children and they generally involve the prevention of deformities and the fixing of fractures. Physiotherapists are involved in prehabilitation (or �prehab�) which involves strength training before surgery to ensure recovery is as quick as possible. They will also be involved in rehab which involves the strength, range of movement and proprioception training to help your child reach their full potential following surgery.
